Daphne Watkins Denham, MD

Dr. Daphne Denham is a board-certified general surgeon who started practicing wound care and hyperbaric medicine over 10 years ago, to spend more time with her 6 children. Watching the effects of concussions on her childhood friends, she questioned the “wait and see” approach for acute concussions. Over the past 4 years, acute concussions have been her passion. In July 2018 she moved from Chicago to Fargo, ND to continue her quest to change the standard of care for acute concussions. She will be presenting original research suggesting the efficacy of HBOT in the treatment of acute concussions in young athletes. Dr. Denham serves as a member of Hyperbaric Medicine International’s Council on Accreditation.
